[Sorce: Guides on vdvideosoft.com]
This guide describes how to convert video files (AVI, MPEG, MP4, WMV, MOV, 3GP, DVR-MS) to Flash (*.swf or *.flv)
Download from [Free Video to Flash Converter from DVDVideoSoft.com] or [Free Video to Flash Converter (Mirror on Uropractice.org)]
This is a clearly free program. There is no spyware or adware. It's absolutely safe to install and to run!
Follow Start > All Programs > DVDVideoSoft > Programs > Free Video to Flash Converter or just click the DVDVideoSoft Free Studio icon on the desktop.
The interface is very simple and self explaining. There is a field for input files, a field for an output path, and the lists with preconfigured profiles.
Click the upper Browse... button to select an input video file(s) from your computer.
If you convert many videos at one time it can be useful to save the list of them.
Just make the right click of the mouse and select the Save list... item or press Ctrl+S.
Click the bottom Browse... button. Choose the location where you would like to save your converted video files. Click Ok.
In the list of Formats select FLV or SWF.
In the list of Presets select one of the available pre-configured presets.
Note: by default a player can't be added to SWF file. This option is available only for FLV video. So if you want to control movie on your site you should select FLV as an output format.
Click the Trim... button to open a new window.
Use navigation line and special buttons to set a start and end selection markers position.
Click OK to switch back to the main program window.
Click the Player... button to open the new window.
Select the player style.
Note: click the button "?" to learn more about player functions.
Note: the Player... button is disabled if you set SWF as an output video format. If you want to add a player to your movie please choose FLV from the list of formats.
Click the Convert button along the bottom of the interface and wait the video to be converted.
Open a folder with output files and run HTM file.
Using "Add Video" on "my Panel", upload the .flv file that has been created in the previous steps.
